No — clubs provide rackets for taster sessions and beginner coaching. Most families pick up their own kit once a child joins regularly.
Most clubs welcome juniors from age 6 upwards, with sessions grouped by age and ability rather than just year group.
Club coaching fees vary by venue. County squad training has a seasonal fee that covers training sessions, fixtures, and a county shirt — full details are shared once your child is selected.
Yes — county squad places are offered after a trial session, once a coach feels your child is ready to move up from club-level training.
